Lake Powell

Our next stop was Wahweap campground at Lake Powell. It was well above 100 degrees, and there wasn't much of a breeze, so we were hurting for a while. Luckily the campsite was really close to the lake, so it was easy to go on over and play on the beach. Here's the view from our campsite:


We found some shade and Zade hung out in his carseat, while Aria found a pile of rocks and began hucking them into the lake for at least 15 minutes. :) With each toss she'd yell "HI-YA!" It was hilarious. You can see one of the rocks in mid-flight here (just below the swimmer in the pic):





Aria is such a ham. Here she is playing with her toys on the beach:
