Early March 2020

Superstar Dance Competition
Aria's dance competed in a dance competition up in Portland and took 2nd place.  She had a great time.

Silver Creek Falls
Tara took the kids up to Silver Creek Falls, and for the first time, they hiked the entire loop and saw all the waterfalls. The kids enjoyed it until the rains came and they got soaked. :)

Gymnastics
We took the kids to Corvallis to check out a gymnastics meet.  OSU was playing UCLA.  The Bruins were nearly perfect and came out on top.  It was fun to watch such incredible athletes compete.

Zade's Basketball Team
Zade played basketball with the YMCA this winter.  They went 4 and 4.  Zade's skills improved a lot and he even scored a basket in the last game.  (This earned him a blizzard at Dairy Queen from his old man, which made the basket even better.)

Get Air
Aria loves to have people take pictures of her dancing and doing tricks (if you haven't noticed).

Social Distancing
Due to the coronavirus, the federal and state mandates have been coming out for people to keep their distance from others to slow the spread of the virus.  So Tara picked up some things to help keep the kids busy.

The day before all the restaurants were forced to close, we headed to IHOP at Zade's request.  We were the only people in the restaurant.

St. Patrick's Day
Ryzen loves leprechauns and built a house for them to stay.

When St. Patrick's Day finally arrived Ryzen was super pleased to wake up and find that there were trails of coins on the floor leading to the leprechaun's pots of chocolate gold coins.

Zade turns 10
Grandma and Grandpa D gave Zade a Lego Yoda, which he happily and swiftly built.

February 2020

Acro & Tumbling
We took the kids to an acrobatics and tumbling meet at the UofO.  We all had a good time.

Aria and her dance friends were constantly trying to get on the jumbo-tron.  We got a pic of one of the times they were on the big screen.

Afterwards Aria was able to get her poster signed by one of the team members, who is also her tumbling teacher at USGA.

Ryzen has been dying to get one of these foam fingers.  We finally got him one, and he loved showing it.  He also took it with him a week later when Zade and I went to a men's basketball game, where the ducks beat Colorado.  (Unfortunately we didn't get any pics).

Valentines
Tara made a special breakfast for all of us with Chocolate pancakes.

That evening Tara and I went to see the play Nunsense, put on by the Actors Cabaret of Eugene.

Nova's Preschool
Tara also went to Nova's preschool on Valentines to pass out treats.

Sweet Creek Falls
On President's Day Tara took the kids on a hike.

Ryzen's Field Trip
Tara went along with Ryzen to the science museum for a class field trip.  This was one of Ryzen's favorite contraptions there.
