Nationals

By winning a local dance competition in Portland, Aria received a scholarship to attend the Celebrity National Dance Competition.  Since her solo included a table as a prop, we drove down to Anaheim California so that she could have it for her performance. Aria did a great job at the competition, but didn't score as high as she'd hoped. We still had a nice time though.

While we were there we went to Disneyland, UC Irvine, and the Newport Beach temple.

On the way back we stopped at Santa Barbara's shopping district, and visited Stanford's campus.

Enchanted Forest

My sister Annette came to Oregon to visit, and as traditional requires, we all went to the Enchanted Forest. :)

Rafting the McKenzie River

We also took her and her kids rafting.  Ryzen was at the front of the raft for most of the ride and got drenched.  He later moved to the back to dry out, since the river is so cold, even on a hot day.

He was brave though, and afterwards even jumped into the current for a fun ride.

Honeyman
Tara took the kids camping along with a few other ladies from our ward.

Blunck's come to visit
Tara's sister came to visit from Texas.  We hiked the Ribbon trail to Hendrick's Park, and then went down to Prince Puecklers for some ice cream.

We also hiked Sweet Creek.

We also enjoyed dinner at Roaring Rapids Pizza, and then checked out the new Willamette Valley Temple site.

For The Strength of Youth (FSY)
Aria attended FSY in Monmouth.  For the few days she was there, she learned a lot and had a good time.
