Zade's Track Meet
Zade ran the 3000m, 800m, and the 400m this season. His favorite races was the 800m because he felt he did better at it.
Landon's Birthday Party
Zade and Ryzen said they'd like to try a Carolina Reaper pepper. I talked them into starting with a more modest goal of seeing if they could eat a jalepeno, serano, and then habinero pepper. After one bite of the jalepeno, Ryzen gave up, and Zade did the same after two bites. :)

Nova and her friends
For Ryzen's birthday he decided that he wanted a dog. I was not in favor of the idea, but because he couldn't think of anything else that he wanted, and because Tara pushed to get a dog, I eventually let him get one. She's was a 4 month old Border Collie/Shepherd mix. Ryzen had a lot of fun with her, but she was quite strong, making it hard for Ryzen to train her. More problematic though was that she bit us a lot, chewed up many things in the house, made huge messes, and peed and pooed in the house a lot. Ultimately, we decided we were probably not the right fit for her, so after a month we helped her find a new home.

Dane's Birthday
Tara is in charge of the activity group for girls in our ward and invited them all to bring their pet to our house. The Hallock's brought their horse, which all the kids really enjoyed.

Well Issues
One day we noticed the well house was flooding, so I had to buy a pump to drain it. Shortly thereafter the pump stopped working altogether. Fortunately we were able to get the pump fixed, but it was a very frustrating issue. Thank goodness we have the Johnston's as neighbors, because they were able to help give me ideas regarding how to address the issue.
Butte to Butte
Zade decided he wanted to do the 5K, so I ran it with him. We had fasted the day before, so he didn't have as much energy as he hoped, but he still had a good time.
