 Princess Camp

Nova attended a princess camp at All That Dance. She loved it!

Blunck's come to visit
Shara and her crew came to visit for a few days.  We took them out to Wildcat Bridge and let the kids catch (and release) crawdads.  Good times.

And made time for s'mores.

Dave Myrold's funeral
My good friend Kirk Myrold's father passed away from cancer.  I'll miss him.  He's a great guy.  At his funeral there were a lot of pictures up and I noticed myself in one of them.

Zade's Lego Rifle
Zade built a full size rifle out of Legos because... why not. :)
Utah Trip
We had planned to head out to Utah together as a family, but one afternoon at work Tara called me and told me that she was tired of being at home and wanted to take the kids to Utah "tomorrow."  This was 10 days earlier than our original plan.  I was caught off guard, and tried to talk her out of it, since Dwight and Whitney were coming to visit the following week, but she couldn't be dissuaded.  So she took off with 4 of the kids and left Aria and I, since Aria had a dance camp the following week.

Meanwhile in Oregon
Aria wasn't into attending the ballet camp Tara had signed her up for and only ended up going 2 out of the 5 days. Fortunately one of the days Dwight and Whitney were here, so we took them to Defy and they had a great time.
They also played Rock Band (although Dwight always stopped playing whenever I tried to take a pic).

The Herd reunites in Utah
Aria and I finally left on a Monday to come out to Utah for the Debenham Family reunion.

We went up to Snowbird, had family pics, and did a variety of other activities together.

After only 4 days of me and Aria being in Utah, Tara said she was ready to head home (5 days earlier than our original plan), so we headed back home.

Back in Oregon
Everest celebrated a trip around the sun with a smash cake.  Unfortunately though, he didn't really get into smashing it. He touched it a couple times, but was otherwise fairly disinterested.  Oh well.

Bike Ride
We got back into the regular family activities at home, and took the kids out for a ride to Albertsons for ice cream. :)

New Car

Tara's parents have decided to sell one of their rentals, so they gave us some money and told us we needed to buy a new car to replace our old one.  Tara picked out this one.

Hiking Spencer's Butte with the Yorgesen's.
Blackberry picking.
Splash with Nova and Ava.

Family trip to Heceta Head on the Oregon coast.

We dropped Aria off at Honeyman for a Young Women's camp with our ward.  Here she is with Juliette.  Aria bonded with a bunch of the girls and had a great time.  In fact, shortly before this, the bishop called her into his office and she accepted a calling as a counselor in the Young Womens.  She's also got a limited-use temple recommend.  She told me that she's now going to have to start paying tithing. :)
I took the boys out mini-golfing at Camp Putt by roaring rapids.  They had a fun time.
