Time Off

I took the week off after Nova was born to spend time with our other kids, while Tara recovered from giving birth. One of our favorite activities was going mini-golfing up at Tussey Mountain.

 We also took the kids to the People's Choice Festival, which they loved.  There were fun exhibits everywhere for them to play.

Tara parents also came into town and had a blast playing with the kids. Now that our basement has been repaired, they were able to stay with us.  Since the kids toys are all in the basement, they got to interact with them a lot.  Once they came into town I was able to go back to work.

 Here are a couple more pics of Nova.  She's been doing really well. She's our best sleeper by far. Despite how young she is, she's only waking up 2-3 times a night, feeds rather quickly, and generally goes right back to sleep.  We've never had that before. The other kids at this age would wake up 4-5 times a night, feed slowly, and were really squirmy and gasey, making it hard for them and Tara to go back to sleep. We feel very blessed.
