Backyard pool

Since it's now getting so warm outside (105 fahrenheit most days), by the evening the water that comes out of the hose is the perfect temperature so we can actually give Aria and Zade bathes out in in the little pool in the backyard. They both love it!


Since Tara is always taking care of baby Zade, Aria likes to have a baby of her own, so this little doll often comes wherever she goes.

Dane's Birthday

We had a great birthday celebration. Tara made a delicious cake with cool whip & a pile of raspberries and my parents gave me a sweet Oregon State shirt. (I love the expression on Aria's face in this pic)


Tara surprised me by buying tickets for the family to a baseball game to see the Arizona Diamondbacks play the St. Louis Cardinals. As expected, the Card's beat the D-backs 5-2, and there were a number of doubles and a 3-run shot, along with several errors, making for an entertaining time.



We then spent the night at an inexpensive hotel, went to the temple in the morning, and then to a new Aquarium. It had some neat transparent passageways you could walk through and see sharks swimming right next to you.

Aria didn't get a good nap in beforehand though, so she didn't seem to care.

The end of the fantastic weather is finally upon us. It's now breaking into the 100's again, but man, what a long stretch of fabulous weather. Arizona's weather from November through May was just awesome.

In other news, Tara went up for a night to Girls Camp and left the kids with me. She seemed to have a good time, but oh man, I'm sooo grateful she made it back. I love the kids, but they're so demanding and just wore me out.
